With the general election only days away, seniors at Chester County High School took part in a mock election. The students got to voice their preferences for Governor, U.S. Senate and U.S. House of representatives as well as Tennessee State Representative. The results will be sent to Nashville for study but are not included in the “official” results. Results of the high school mock voting were announced by Tennessee Secretary of State Tre Hargett on Wednesday, Oct. 31. More than 100,000 students in all 95 Tennessee counties had the opportunity to let their votes count in this capacity. The General Election will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 6. Head to your designated precinct in order to cast your ballot and make your vote count in this year’s mid-term election.
