Prayer requests: Brenda Cooper was recently hospitalized at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. She would appreciate prayers as she recovers. Judy McIntyre’s sister, Ruth LuBrent, was hospitalized at Baptist East. Ruth lived in Silerton for a brief time with her sister, Lela. Sarah Chandler is experiencing some health issues and asks for prayers, also.
Shout out to Jeannie Morris for the Yard of the Month. Even though Jeannie suffers from some health issues, she manages to keep her yard well-manicured. Bill Mayfield improved the landscape of our area by cutting weeds. Everyone’s help makes our town more attractive.
Oliver and Wanda Young traveled to Olive Branch, Miss., to help their grandson, Rush Young, celebrate his birthday.
Faith Spangler from Harrah, Okla., visited her grandmother, Judy McIntyre, for a few days.
Lauren and John Mayfield, from Germantown, visited their grandparents, Bill and Gail Mayfield, recently.
Anita Lambert traveled to Waterbury, Conn., with the Sanford Hill Baptist Church to work at a Vacation Bible School. Anita returned worn out but feeling blessed to be able to help. While there, the team was able to travel to New York City for sightseeing. They were able to visit the Statue of Liberty, Grand Central Station, St. Peter’s Church, Trump Tower and several other sights but most of all they enjoyed the atmosphere of New York City for a few hours.
