Hello to all! I hope everyone had a good week.
The weather as we all know has been rainy, but we sure did need it. I wrote this on Saturday afternoon, and the sun is out. It looks like next week will be pretty, less humid and slightly cooler temperatures. Some of the farmers planted corn early, and it sure is looking good. I wish all the farmers and their families a productive year. It is hard work. I thought about it the other day when I was mowing for two hours, and it was hot. I was thanking God for every breeze. Most farmers get up and start at the break of dawn and go until dark. I have seen some working with lights on their tractors. Thanks from me and our house. Also, thanks to all the truckers who deliver the goods made in America.
Happy Birthday to Jo Willis, June 13, and Marie Bishop, June 14.

“Soul Song” by Diane Ranker Riesen - “I have a song inside of me...the melody so sweet/every time I say a prayer-this song seems to repeat/The notes are pure and beautiful...such peace within my touch/my prayers seem to ignite the notes-I love the song so much/I think my soul was opened wide-when I’d sit down to pray/and God gives me some music then...to help me through the day/I can’t repeat the notes I feel...they hold such heavenly sounds/often times I start to cry—-the music’s so profound/I thank You-God-for giving me this blessing soft and true/I know the beauty of those notes is coming right from You/Prayer is just so magical-the tender ‘talk’ is strong/and when I’m done I always know my heart is filled with song.”
I pray you all have a wonderful week, and may it be filled with love, joy, peace and blessings. Remember if you have news, please call me at 983-0718.
Until next week, Happy Trails to You.
