Hello from Enville! Hopefully, everyone had a great week. It is hot, and summer is still here for a little while longer. It will probably go from hot to cold. I really hope we have some cooler temperatures soon. After all, autumn begins on Sept. 23.
I love fall and everything that comes with it - the changing of the leaves, fall colors and decorations and, of course, the crisp air!
I hope all the grandparents had a great day on Sunday. We had Grandparents’ Day all weekend. We watched Reece play ball all day on Saturday in Paris. Then, on Sunday afternoon we watched Brayden play basketball. We enjoyed our weekend of children and grandchildren!
It is homecoming week at Chester County Junior High. The kids get to dress up all week, which is always fun, and on Thursday night, our grandsons will have their football game. An exciting time for everyone!
The Enville United Methodist Church had a special luncheon after church on Sunday. It was to welcome back Bro. Bill and Mrs. Betty Evans for another year. It was an enjoyable time with lots of good food and fellowship.
Enville would like to congratulate our own Megan Bishop for her winning awards at the horse show competitions. She and Mia make a great riding team. Way to go, Megan!
Happy birthday wishes go to Glenda Kay Rickman on Sept. 13, April Collins and Sherry Smith Kendall on Sept. 15, Carrie Timmer on Sept. 16, Sherry Smith on Sept. 17 and Madison Hatch on Sept. 18.
Happy anniversary to Corey and Brittany Finley on Sept. 17. We hope you all enjoy your special day!
