On Saturday night, Sept. 7, a Multi-Jurisdictional Saturation was conducted. The Henderson Police Department and the Chester County Sheriff’s Department were out in force searching for anyone in possession of illegal drugs.
Chief Gray Davidson and Sheriff Blair Weaver issued the following joint statement: “We want the citizens of Henderson and Chester County to know that all our Officers and Deputies are fully committed each day they come to work to make the communities and streets safer. We also stress to those who choose to sell or use not only illegal drugs, but also prescription drugs, Law Enforcement is looking for you!”
The following charges were made in the recent saturation: two charges of simple possession of schedule VI controlled substance (marijuana), four charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, two charges of driving on a suspended driver’s license, three charges of manufacture/deliver/sell/possession of schedule II Methamphetamine, one charge driving while in possession of methamphetamine, two charges of possession of schedule II oxycodone/hydrocodone and two charges possession schedule IV controlled substance (Xanax). In addition, a vehicle and approximately $1,250 in cash was seized.
