Eagle star inks with Jackson St. Eagle star inks with Jackson St.

Collin McPherson will continue his baseball career with Jackson State Community College.
The Chester County High School senior made it official Monday when he signed the papers at a reception at the school.
"He deserves it. He has worked hard. I'm proud of you big guy," said Eagle baseball head coach Mike Goff.
Assistant coach Ryan Coleraine echoed similar sentiments. "I'm proud of Collin. I expect great things from him in the future."
A mainstay in the Eagle pitching staff for the last three years, McPherson was also one of their leading hitters. Though not a big guy in height, McPherson has a strong frame that was one of the traits that attracted Collin to Jackson State coach Clayton Grant.
"His arm strength, and how athletic he is," stated Grant about McPherson's attributes. "We've worked with him for seven or eight months. He's quick to pick up things. What he has we need - big athletic guys like him. I'm fired up to have him."
Grant looks for McPherson to pay quick dividends on the mound, but will also give him a chance to play in the field as well.
